The Bachelors, a Dublin popular music group, had eighteen hit records in the UK in the 1960s. In 1964, they achieved more top ten records than The Beatles!
Their biggest hit was "Diane" which was number one in the UK charts, and number ten in America in 1964.
"Charmaine" was their 2nd single, released in 1962 it reached No. 8 in the Irish charts and No. 6 in the UK.
