Released on the 1969 album, "The Closest Thing To Love". Written by Chip Taylor, this song was originally offered to Connie Francis who turned it down because she felt the song was too risque for her career. It was then recorded by Evie Sands but her label went backrupt. Finally, it was given to Merilee Rush who recorded it and had a top 10 hit. A remake by Juice Newton was also a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit in 1981.
