Amen Corner was a pop band of the '60s featuring singer Andy Fairweather Low, organist Blue Weaver, guitarist Neil Jones, bassist Clive Taylor, saxophonists Allen Jones and Mike Smith, and drummer Dennis Bryon. The band was named after The Amen Corner, a weekly disc spin at the Victoria Ballroom (later to become The Scene Club) in Cardiff, Wales, where every Sunday night Dr. Rock would play the best soul music from America. They scored the first of their six British chart hits with "Gin House" in the summer of 1967, followed up by two further hits, "The World Of Broken Hearts" and Bend Me Shape Me
