Eydie Gormé giving a rousing performance of "I Wanna Be Around" on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1966.

This is a very rare video for two reasons: First, because most footage of Johnny Carson's first ten years at the Tonight Show is not existing anymore. And secondly, because this is one of the first home video recordings ever. So the quality is a lot better than with the kinescope technique mostly used back then.

This clip doesn't originate from me. One user uploaded it here last year but sadly, it was deleted after a while. If that user is still around: I hope it's OK for you that the clip is up here again. Otherwise, please contact me. The same applies to the YouTube administrators and NBC and/or Carson Productions. ;-)

I just thought since this video can't be found anywhere else and since it also shows such a brilliant performance (of one of my favourite songs, by the way), it shouldn't be left aside here on YouTube.
