This song has been recorded by several artists during the years. One of the earliest was Glenn Miller & Ray Eberle. Also Tommy Dorsey & Frank Sinatra made their version in the early 40's. This Rick Nelson's version was the biggest hit, also Brook Benton made the charts with this (1960).
Rick Nelson (1940-1985) started his recording career as Ricky Nelson, but from 1961 on he dropped the y off and became Rick Nelson, as also on this single. His real name was Eric Hilliard Nelson.
