Ollie & The Nightingales sang the backup on Eddie Floyd's hit of this song, then put it on an album themselves. They were originally the Dixie Nightingales, a gospel group, and had David Ruffin as a member for a brief time. Ollie Hoskins, the lead, eventually went on to record as "Ollie Nightingale".
