Released in 1975, this was the A side to the second of seven singles Ronnie had on the Melodyland, Hitsville and MC record labels (all three being a part of Motown's Country division). After Ronnie had already released four singles on Melodyland, the label had to change its name to Hitsville due to a lawsuit from another record company named Melodyland. The Hitsville label lasted less than a year afterwards and then Mike Curb had the label changed again to M.C. (Motown Country), which lasted less than a year afterwards. This song was also released on Ronnie's LP on the M.C. label titled New Old-Fashioned Love, in 1977.
