When Frankie left Mercury Records, he made a promise not to re-record any of his Mercury records for 5 years. In 1957 that 5 year period was up. Frankie with Paul Weston made an Album
of his early recordings. Columbia called it "ROCKIN'" (WHY??)
I think these recordings were better than the orginals. Maybe it's because up till then I had never heard most of the orginals. I believe this is Frankie's best performance of "Desire"
