Original 1963 tune from the american Soul/Blues music group The Impressions, taken from their debut album "The Impressions".
Inatially formed in 1958 as The Roosters by Sam Gooden and brothers Richard and Arthur Brooks, as they moved to Chicago added Jerry Butler and Curtis Mayfield to their line-up, becoming Jerry Butler & the Impressions.
By 1962 after the departure of original Impressions when the band broke up, Curtis Mayfield, Sam Gooden and Fred Cash scaled down to a trio, and went on to become one of America's top R&B vocal groups ever!
