This group recorded 4 songs for $20 in a converted garage in Ojai, Ca. in 1963. It was first issued on the Arlen label. I think a DJ in Coalinga, CA first played it. However, when 10,000 watt KACY played it, the manager, Tom Ayres, leased it to Dot Records. They were signed to a contract and made an album called "Hot Pastrami." However, on this video is the original 45 hit from 1963 lip synced by Doug Phillips with the rest (Corkie Wilkie on keyboard) playing along. The original record is hard to hard, and was not reissued on CD...legally. You get the version from the album. I fixed the audio as best I could.
