Nothing to do with the 70s American band, the UK's "Eagles" were a guitar led instrumental group of the early 60s, somewhat similar to the far more commercially successful "Shadows" (these Eagles never had any UK top 40 hits).

Here is their 1962 45 version of the theme from the 1960 Otto Preminger movie "Exodus".

Played on a 1971 ULTRA 6043 record player
