The Bachelors could arguably be defined as Ireland's first boy band! Founded in Dublin in 1957 they began their musical career as 'The Harmonichords' before changing to The Bachelors in 1962.They were hugely successful with many chart hits including a #1 on the American charts with 'I Believe'. The original group broke up in 1984 less harmoniously after a bitter split.'The Unicorn',written by Shel Silverstein, was released in 1968.This video is for educational purposes and social commentary only.No copyright infringement is intended.
