Vocals by, and lyrics & music written by Peter Rowan. Earth Opera was a Boston band (1967-1969) that included David Grisman. "Earth Opera" (1968) was the first of their two (only) albums. It was followed, in 1969, by their album, "The Great American Eagle Tragedy."

Peter Rowan is a gifted poet, lyricist and musician and — in my opinion — a national treasure. After Earth Opera, he has continued to be a creative voice in the music world. Google him! His bio is impressive.
