Max Bygraves with 'Out of Town'. The song was originally written for the 1956 film 'Charley Moon' starring Max and Shirley Eaton. It was released as a single on the 'His Masters Voice' label and reached no.18 in the UK chart in May 1956.
The song was also used as the theme for early black & white episodes of the Southern Television series 'Out of Town' starring Jack Hargreaves.
