Dorothy Squires ( 1915 - 1998 ) born in Pontyberem , Llanelli , Wales UK became a major singing and recording star in the 40`s and was then the highest paid female performer in the UK. She was married to Roger Moore in 1953 until they separated in 1961.In the late 60s at the age of 55 she made a return to the recording charts when she scored 3 top 40 hits including her version of My Way which spent 6 months in the UK charts. She continued to perform until late into her life.
